Blue Perk Gat Rossio Hotel Experience

Welcome to my home away from home on my first visit to LISBON. Located in the heart of the city center, I was warmly welcomed by the GAT ROOMS team for my week long stay in exploring Lisbon and enjoying the comforts offered by GAT ROSSIO HOTEL.

I first officially met the GAT ROOMS team in Berlin after un-officially meeting via INSTAGRAM. We discussed how I had never been to Lisbon, how great the city was, and that I needed to visit. I completely agreed! Upon arriving to Lisbon I was only a short 15 minute cab ride from the airport to GAT ROSSIO HOTEL. Where I was quickly checked in by their friendly staff who were quick to offer me advice on where to eat and site see. The two most important things on my mind after landing.



Upon arriving into my room I was welcomed by some fresh fruit, mineral water, and bite sized chocolate. Plus complimentary wifi that is accessible through out the entire hotel. A real plus for me needing to be connected, and is offered at a fast speed. Not once could I not stream a video or have trouble researching what to do.



While shooting these photos I was able to enjoy some of the wide ranged breakfast with the Gat Rooms team, an inexpensive option that can be added to the rooms bill when booking. There are many choices ranging from traditional pastries such as pasties de belem to fresh squeezed orange juice, and many deli meats, breads, cereal, and coffee for your morning delight. With either the option to sit inside or on their sunny outdoor terrace. I opted for outdoor to start my day.



Inside my room there was plenty of space in my junior suit to hang my clothes, relax on my phone while INSTAGRAMMING (story of my life), and of course a comfortable bed to sleep oh so well at night. Plus air conditioning that is a real treat for someone who lives in Berlin where air con doesn’t exist. I treated myself a bit to my Texas days and indulged in using the air conditioning while relaxing after long sunny days exploring.


Now if you need some time outside of your room there is also two lounge areas, the RoomRoom and ground level lounge to grab a drink with your friends, read a book, or work alone away from any distractions that may be in your room. A nice treat to have so many options with Gat Rossio.

I could not be more pleased with my stay at GAT ROSSIO HOTEL. My expectations were more than met, from location to friendly service at such a welcoming price. I will look forward to coming back again!
