Kenzo Pre-Fall Collection in Paris

Fall may still be two months away, but when it comes to retail it’s all about planning ahead. This is why Kenzo asked me to work together on sharing a few of my favorite pre-fall collection pieces over the course of this month. Believe me, when I went to their showroom to make the selection, it was REALLLLLY hard to narrow down three outfits. Though after an hour or so playing around like a kid in a clothing candy store, I was able to narrow down my selection to three outfits that can be worn on a chilly early or late summer night. Up to the brisk beginning of fall and a few pieces that can be carried all the way through winter. 



This outfit was shot in the Montmartre neighborhood in Paris, an artist area filled with many gems and stairs. My friend Adam and I caught the lighting at it’s golden hour at 9pm (yes, 9pm in Paris is the most beautiful lighting in June). Just as we turned the corner to shoot against the graffiti wall I had scouted, the sun setting in the background turned out to be a much better background for an outfit I will be dreaming of wearing once it gets colder.

From the jacket to the shoes, I am OBSESSED with this outfit. Each piece offers creativity and a sense of character waiting to be worn. If I had to choose my favorite it would definitely be the jacket and second the shoes, but honestly this outfit has every street trend in one. Scrunched up pants, fly sneakers, boss leather jacket, statement watch, and creative sweater. Needless to say, any-one of these pieces will be a great addition to your closet.
