This blog post was originally shared fall of 2014:
I couldn’t get enough of VENICE during my short THREE DAY TRIP in this city that tends to have high tides in November, but held low while I explored. Making for beautiful images that aren’t over saturated with tourist, but left almost empty for the capturing. Read more to see, (you guessed it) more images of Venice. 😉
During my three day trip in Venice the weather was a little temperamental as weather usually is in November. The first day was overcast and slightly chilly, then the second day was sunny with slight clouds, and then my last day was sunny without clouds but was quite chilly due to wind chill. Luckily I PACKED properly and was able to STAY WARM. Overall I was more than happy with the weather and my experience during this low period when there aren’t too many tourist. I was also lucky enough to only experience high tide on my first night when I was already back in my hostel after a full day of exploring. Then the water subsided by the time I made my way back outside the next morning.
There is so much to see around every corner while exploring this stunning city that I’m looking forward to visiting again, and again. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them! 🙂
