This blog post was originally shared Summer of 2015:
Trading all black for blue on the last day of Berlin fashion week was my motto. Wearing my ONLY & SONS DENIM BUTTON DOWN, CORE BY JACK & JONES SHIRT, ASOS JEANS, DANIEL WELLINGTON WATCH, TOMS SUNGLASSES, and VANS SHOES.
Such a nice feeling knowing there is an light at the end of the tunnel when the last day of fashion week comes around. Luckily for me, this was probably one of my most laid-back and enjoyable fashion weeks. Not having any issue backstage taking photos and was able to score front row seats to each collection I wanted, I even asked sometimes if I could sit next to some people. I honestly believe fashion is meant to have fun, and acts of kindness can go a long way. Yes the front row is “coveted”, but that does not mean if there is space one can not share for someone who’s photo may be more valuable to a designer than a socialite sitting front row.
Overall, I must say Berlin fashion week was a blast for me! I will not miss going to Brandenburg Gate everyday, but will miss the group of people I was working with. If you’d like to see more from the tents, check out FASHION WEEKS TUMBLR.
