Miami Moments

Welcome to Miami! Told you I’d eventually get around to writing this blog post! Maybe a month or two later than I expected, but again life has been super busy as I’m sure you’ve seen on my Instagram. Since you know, you follow me! 😉

Back in April, I went to Miami to speak at a conference called Hispanicize about social media and I was also up for an award for Best Travel Influencer! The conference is focused on hispanic culture within the social media world. It was amazing to connect with so many hispanic individuals in one place. I honestly felt so ashamed that I could not speak Spanish. Everyone was so fluent and I loved it! Eventually I’ll have to find the time to learn…  one day! 
Unfortunately, I did not win the award, but I did make a ton of connections with brands that I am looking forward to be working with in the near future! 

Though, I did get to visit Wynwood. Where I was literally like a kid in a playground. There are so many cool colorful walls there that I could have more than enough content to last me all year. Not even using the same wall once. The weather was typical Miami hot, but that didn’t stop me and my friend Diego from creating all the content moments we could before dehydrating. lol
After the conference, I decided to stay a few extra days to enjoy the sunshine Miami offers during the month of April and escape the cold cold in NYC. Luckily my friends from HotelTonight were able to get me a nice spot at Room Mate Lord Balfour hotel. That was my home away from home. Just in front of the beach and below all the busy streets of South Beach. I could not have been more happy. 
Literally spent every moment I could at the beach perfecting my tan and just enjoying the ocean. It truly is one of my most happiest of places!
 
I did also make some time for reading for a partnership I did with Amazon Publishing. Who doesn’t love reading the beach while getting a tan. Multitasking at its best! 
Lastly, of course I wore all the floral moments! here you can find my entire outfit from Abercrombie. I was obsessed with the floral shirt. It is so cute! I really do have more fun with florals when in Miami or any tropical destination.
