Chevy provided me with a vehicle loan to test drive but all opinions are my own.
Over Valentine’s Day weekend, which also landed on the same weekend as President’s Day for a super 4 day weekend, I test drove the Chevy 2020 Traverse High Country from Los Angeles down to Laguna Beach with one of my best friends. Talk about riding in luxury!
The 2020 Traverse High Country I was loaned had full brown leather interior that was so comfortable. On our drive down to Laguna Beach, my friend and I felt like kings floating down the road. The Traverse picked up speed easily and didn’t have any shake while driving. Since the Traverse is a SUV a little bit larger than I’m used to, I really appreciated all of the safety features that helped me drive, including, rear vision camera, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision, and lane keep assist with lane departure warning. All those features really came in handy when I had to parallel park on the busy streets of Laguna Beach. Being safe while driving is always number one for me!
While in Laguna Beach, since we had so much space that could seat up to 7 people but there was only two of us, so we used the rear space as a changing room in-between taking photos of our outfits and changing after leaving the beach into regular clothes. The Traverse had another cool feature to help us never forget anything in the back. The Rear Seat Reminder feature helped us make sure to check the back seat so that we don’t forget anything, or if you’re like me, and don’t like to leave anything visible. It’s a reminder to help hide any valuables so your vehicle doesn’t get broken into. It is also a great feature for anyone who has kids and pets to remind them to check the back seat before leaving the car. It sounds a little crazy, but every summer there are so many stories of parents who leave their kids inside their hot car!
This feature aims at avoiding a tragedy.
After 4 full days of driving around Laguna Beach in Chevy’s 2020 Traverse High Country, I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a big family or if you just want to be a boss on the road and take 6 of your closet friends to join you on a road-trip!
As always, if you have any questions about Chevy’s 2020 Traverse High Country or just want some recommendations in Laguna Beach, always feel free to leave a comment below.
