Blogging since 2011 makes me feel quite old as we are quickly making our way to 2018. When I started, I was only a freshman in college; fresh from south Texas overly eager to make a name for myself in the fashion industry. Everything was new and exciting. Long hours at school followed by an internship and then longer hours in my dorm room blogging was a common theme for my first two years at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The next two years defined by dedicated networking and success led me to where I am now.
My friends at AMP3 PR Agency asked me a few questions for their Influencer Insider series. Make sure to read it to learn some of my honest thoughts and opinions about being an influencer. Going on 7 years, I truly and do feel like a seasoned veteran influencer. Though as much as there are ups and downs, there is no other career that offers the endless opportunities and freedom.
I couldn’t be more thankful for you all that have been with me from the start and the ones who have more recently joined my everyday moments. Here are some of my more recent photos that have kept me busy in NYC. As always, you can see them first on my Instagram.
As much as I love NYC, I also love getting out of the city even for just a day with my husband. Not often enough to we get to travel together. For this day trip, we went to Dia:Beacon. A museum only a short hour train ride away in the cute town of Beacon.
If you haven’t guessed yet, finding new walls is super exciting for me. If there is ever one you could recommend to me. I’d love if you told me in a comment. This one my husband scouted for me on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
Found on the west side of the city is the High Line. An above ground park that I always find myself visiting to clear my mind and remind myself how fortunate I am to be living in NYC.
For those of you who are avid morning coffee drinkers, this photo is for you! I am not a big coffee fan, but as the temperatures drop and I am still forced outside to take photos. Coffee might just be my new best friend.
Just another iconic moment in New York City. I had not taken a horse carriage through Central Park since the first time I visited in 2010 with my mom. It truly is one of those iconic moments.
Now as the weather has officially dropped and we have already experienced our first snow. Heavy jackets, beanies, and warm sweaters are going to be my almost on repeat until I escape for a two-week road trip with my husband to Texas. We are starting in Dallas on Dec. 16 and slowly making our way to my hometown of Robstown, Texas. Which is just near Corpus Christi, Texas. The home city of Selena, if any of you are fans! 😉
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
