While traveling I think it is important to take styling cues from each city I visit. Such as in LISBON I wore more color and in BARCELONA more florals due to their beachside locations. MADRID is a much larger metropolitan that calls for a more sophisticated outfit.
Let me start with I am now back in Berlin and have a lot to catch up on from my past three weeks traveling. Starting with Madrid. I can’t believe the past three weeks have flown by so quickly and my best friend who was traveling with me from the states is already back in America. How time flies!

The bustling capital of Spain, Madrid reminds me a lot of New York. With their large boulevards, high rise buildings, and bustling crowd of people that always seem to have somewhere to go. I quickly felt at home when visiting, though there are some nice differences such as tapas and their beautiful Spanish architecture that is really charming once you get off of the main streets and into old Madrid.
I paired this all blue outfit with contrasting prints for a fun take on a bit more polished look. Rolling up my sleeves and wearing shorts for comfort as Madrid can get quite warm, because even when looking good one doesn’t have to be so hot. A nice combination for roaming the streets all day without getting too hot or looking like a total tourist. 😉
