This blog post was originally shared winter of 2014:
Since I’ve been back in Berlin from ITALY, it has been rather cold. Luckily AKA CLOTHING sent over some warm options to help keep me warm during these cold days of winter.
While applying the onion method of adding layers on layers, this is how I put together today’s outfit. Starting with a warm layer sweater, light over shirt adding appeal to my outfit, and lastly finished with an extremely warm bomber jacket that has the same warmth as a down coat, but without the ugly size or bulk. My sweats are the cherry on top with slouch comfort providing a contrasting any guy can comfortably wear to keep them warm too.
In addition to it being cold, it has been tough shooting outfit photos. One there has been next to almost no daylight in Berlin. Unless you count grey skies, because in the two weeks i’ve been back I’ve only seen the sun twice. This is one of the days, even though you can’t tell because by the time I made it outside at 2pm, the sun was gone again. Second reason and most difficult is the cold. Having to bear standing outside for outfit photos and having a friend help take photos is a barren on them and me. Luckily I have good friends who are troopers like my friend ISABELLE who shot these for me between sipping coffee in our neighborhood of Neukolln. Stay warm my friends! 🙂
