As a new expat to Berlin like so many others, I wanted to discover which stores men like myself can shop at. Luckily for me, my friend Adam of TRAVELS OF ADAM was able to assist in discovering a couple of cool shops throughout Berlin. From the trendy shopping district of Mitte to the gritty neighborhood of Kreuzburg. We visited 8 shops you’ll be coming back to again, and again.

These stores are organized by neighborhood for your shopping convenience.

Where to Shop in Mitte:

FIRAMENT
Linienstraße 40, 10119 Berlin, Germany

If your ideal clothing store sells limited edition sneakers and carries a vast selection of street wear, Firament has you covered. Located just off the U2 Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz station in Mitte, you’ll be able to find brands such as: Nike, Stone Island, G-Shock, Vans Vault, and their own private label brand as well. Offering a broad selection for your shopping pleasure. I personally loved their shoe selection.

SOTO
Torstraße 72, 10119 Berlin, Germany

For the guy who has everything, this is where you find something you don’t have yet. SoTo caters to men who prefer quality clothing with a modern flare. Carrying international brands such as North Face and Nike to Raf Simons and Thom Browne. The men of Berlin like SoTo so much there is a second location next door, just incase you didn’t find anything your first time around. I was quickly trying to make SoTo my new home.

NO. 74
Torstraße 74, 10119 Berlin, Germany

No. 74 is for the cutting edge guys on the pulse of fashion. Established as the first Adidas select store worldwide opened back in 2008 and has since been leading fashion innovation in Berlin. Carrying limited edition collaborations by Y-3, Adidas by Stella McCartney, Jeremy Scott, Opening Ceremony and Kazuki. With only three stores open in Europe, this is your place to get limited edition menswear. I know when I’m looking for something unique, No. 74 is my starting point.

14 OZ.
Neue Schönhauser Straße 13 10178 Berlin, Germany

Kurfürstendamm 194 10707 Berlin, Germany
With two locations to serve your shopping needs, 14 oz. was started to meet the expectations the owner Karl-Heinz Müller wanted to receive while shopping. The end product is a shopping mecca providing a broad but concise selection of moderate priced clothing for the man who wants to look well dressed while receiving adequate customer service. As I browsed the store, it was hard not to walk out with a new outfit.

ULF HAINES
Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 24/26 10178 Berlin, Germany

ULF Haines provides a nice curation of luxury for men with designers such as: Carven, Ralph Simons, Label Under Construction, and many more. Though, my favorite selection was their choices of cologne that I had not seen at other stores.

TRUEFFELSCHWEIN
Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 21, 10178 Berlin, Germany

Trueffelschwein is a multi-label shop for men like me who prefer a variety of contemporary clothing that won’t break the bank, but will leave you looking sharp. Offering a large selection of shoes, accessories, and brands you wouldn’t find at other stores in Mitte. The owner focuses on his customers standing out rather than sticking out.

Where to Shop in Kreuzberg:

VOO STORE
Oranienstraße 24, 10999 Berlin, Germany

Voo is a specialty concept store with well curated higher end luxury brands that are sometimes more attainable than others. While also carrying cool books and gift ideas that are great for last minute gifts. I personally enjoy their Companion Coffee cafe connected to the store. Allowing for a break in-between shopping, or allowing time to decide which piece you really want to purchase.

LOCAL
Fidicinstraße 17, 10965 Berlin, Germany

LOCAL is a super cool store with a recent renovation that was once only SIMON&ME now carries a range of brands that are from
the country of the brands origin. These brands range from SIMON&ME, A Kind of Guise, NOBLE Denim, Tanner Goods, Field Notes, Mast Brothers, Brooklyn Soap Company and even furniture from String, Applied Objects and MYKILOS. Offering only pieces that will last the test of time, not with the change of seasonal wind. I find this store most interesting for it’s minimalist aesthetic and their passion for selling quality locally sourced products.
