Best Instagram Moments at Estoril Beach

It’s that time of year again, SUMMER! I’m kicking off my favorite time of year in Lisbon, Portugal on a 1 week holiday visiting GAT ROOMS HOTEL. Where there is plenty of sunshine, sea, and well perfect weather to get a golden tan seaside.

While visiting Lisbon during the summer, I highly recommend visiting the beaches. These photos were taken at Estoril, but I also visited Cascais. Both are easily accessible by train from Lisbon at a fair price. The difference between the two is Estoril is literally just a beach off the train station, while Cascais has a small little village that is worth exploring. Though I would say Estoril for swimming and Cascais for a day trip with less ocean and more site seeing. Either way you’re bound to get plenty of vitamin D, and refreshing in some (warning) ice cold Atlantic water. 



Before taking a refreshing dip into Lisbon’s cool Atlantic coast, I took the time to share a simple outfit helping you get away from traditional beachwear. So you don’t have to look like the typical SoCal American while on holiday. Add some new basics into your wardrobe like sneakers, a printed shirt, and some sort of pattern shorts. All finished off with a cool backpack to hold your beach essentials: towel, portable speaker, sandals, beer, and don’t forget sunscreen.
